One of my very close friends and former classmate from UT now works in the production department at Yigal Azrouel. He was so sweet to invite my friend Samantha and me to the show! I absolutely love Yigal Azrouel’s clothing and aesthetic. His collection was full of leather, chunky knits, and organza. I am all about texture, so I am immediately drawn to his work. His collection is simple and generally monotoned but extremely intricate and detailed. He does incorporate splashes of graphic prints that successfully livens up the tone. I was in awe of the unique construction of mixing the different fabrics and textures together. It kept the collection very sophisticated but modern at the same time.
