The Lucite Romper

I am a Texan native but now live in New York City. I wanted to design a garment that embodies both sides of me — collaborating my origin with my current home. I was inspired by different elements of New York and Texas to design the Lucite Romper. I incorporated deer fur around the neckline and cap sleeves and I used leather for the front bodice to symbolize Texas. The angular structure of the romper and the use of sequins are suppose to represent the architecture and lights of the New York city skyline.

My style is tailored and sophisticated with a twist. Adding the sheer panels on the sides represents exposing who I am, while adding a hint of sexiness to the garment. This design represents my journey moving to New York city and my transition in life.
