NYFW 2016 Day 4

NYFW Day 4 Recap

Day 4 of NYFW started off with a dreamy feel at the Chloe Gosselin presentation. Seriously I have never seen so much detail put into shoe designs before. I loved the aesthetic portrayed at this presentation! The theme of the set up was “In Bed with Chloe”, so the entire presentation was full of dreamy bed sets, whimsical flowers and garden accessories, and of course, the most elegant models lounging around in bed in Chloe Gosselin heels.

I scurried over to Jenny Packham on my lunch break [yes, I worked during this hectic time!] and was in awe with the fall collection! Some of the styles were so mod with a vintage twist. For example, the mustard colored gown below, totally a vintage dress design, refurbished and brought back to life with the JP spice. I couldn’t get over how much everything sparkled down this runway!

After the show I headed back to work in my Vestment robe [read more about this lounge to outerwear robe line here]. Bill Cunningham actually approached my friends and I and talked to us about the robes we were strutting. I had quite the fan girl moment! After work I was able to partake in some dancing, networking and fun at the Opening Ceremony after party. It was so fun to let go and enjoy the night with great company. Thanks to Dell for putting the event together!

Day 4 was full of fun and I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to take on the events with. One thing that NYFW does that I don’t talk about enough is the fact that you meet so many great people, and reconnect with those you’ve talked to before. It’s like a holiday when we end up at these after parties, and we are just so happy to be celebrating another season full of the industry that we love.

More to come!
