September in NYC at the NYFW SS15 Charlotte Ronson presentation
Well if you read my last post I talked a little bit about my good luck at Fashion Week last season, getting invited to some shows on the last days. So to continue my tradition of good fortune… I entered in a small contest on Facebook with TEMPTU to win a gift card to Athleta, some TEMPTU goodies, and a ticket to the Charlotte Ronson NYFW show and… I won! So the second day of NYFW I got to the Charlotte Ronson show and get some Temptu make up and my gift card! Temptu did the make-up for the show, which was absolutely flawless. Go check out their face make up products! I am so excited to start using everything they gave me! I have already made their under eye concealer part of my morning make-up routine. I can’t thank TEMPTU enough for randomly selecting me as their winner! The show was such a blast J
OK so about the clothes! Like I have mentioned before in my coverage from the Meskita and Josie Natori shows, PASTELS are in now and here to stay for spring/summer 2015. I love all the different hues of blue in this collection with the subtle pops of ivory and pink. It also doesn’t seem like the “slides” style is leaving us either! I have always been a promoter of the Birkenstocks and such but I was always skeptical about the Tevas… UNTIL September 5th. I loved the metallic Tevas, especially the all white/silver ones! Chic shoes that are made for walking?? Does it get any better? Especially living in NYC.
My favorite piece would have to be this deep navy blue knit sweater with the sheer silk sleeves and bottom. I am definitely going to need that! Most of the collection was solid colored except for some floral pieces scattered through out. I thought the floral prints and textured fabrics were the perfect details to tie this collection together. The quotes framed at each corner of the square of the presentation also added a nice finishing touch to the overall ambience of the collection. My favorite one read, “I fell off my pink cloud with a thud.” – Elizabeth Taylor.

TREND ALERT: Navy/royal blues, pastels, and sporty shoes! Even if you like to dress super feminine and girly, you can totally rock these types of Tevas with a pink floral dress or anything to make them fit your style.
