September in NYC at the Desigual SS15 NYFW show
This show was absolute blast to watch! Not only did the audience look like they were having a blast but the models did too! The collection was covered in a variety of floral pattern dresses, jackets, skirts, and kimonos. It just made me want to throw it all on and go lay down on a sandy beach somewhere in South America. The bright colors and patterns reminded me of Pucci back in the 1960s, so vibrant and bold, but with a modern Lana del Rey twist with the floral headbands.
Congrats Desigual on an amazing show! Can’t wait to sport some of these pieces next summer!
TREND ALERT: Florals and kimonos! I have been seeing Asian silhouette influences in all three shows I have been at (Josie Natori, Nicholas K, and now Desigual). The kimono is making its way back and is going to be a great easy staple for next spring/summer!
