Nanette Lepore’s collections the past few seasons have pleasantly surprised me. I use to have the assumption that Nanette was too girly for my personal style but this collection along with the SS15 collection both have a chic bohemian/rock and roll vibe going on. The hashtag for the collection was #poshrebel which fits the collection perfectly. Nanette created the perfect mix between conservative/feminine and vintage party girl. The high-waist wide leg sailor pants thrown in with the sexy silk tops and low cut dresses really brought different aspects of the 60’s together to tell the story of a classy rebel—never revealing too much but showing just enough to make keep it club appropriate.
