Russia Inspired at New York Fashion Week Fall 2014

DAY 3 OUTFIT OF THE DAY IS FINALLY HERE! I’m wearing mostly all vintage except for the black and white Zara crop top and Zana Bayne harness (which has quickly become one of my closet staples). I first was wearing the green mink scarf around my neck but then I thought it would make a better statement piece if I put it on my head and to show the harness. My Russian inspired look seemed to draw in many photographers. Like I said earlier, theres not better time to try new styles than at New York fashion week!

Many photographers started taking my pictures and posting them to social media. This is when I believe that Mercedes-Benz fashion week discovered my style in pictures and actually invited me through a direct message on Instagram to shows on Day 6 and 7! I didn’t even know about direct messages on Instagram until then. But pretty much they messaged me asking me to email them about some shows they wanted to invite me to! So I guess running around the city in the freezing cold in ridiculous outfits ended up paying off. Least to say, I had an AMAZING fashion week experience and I can’t wait to tell you about my time at the shows and in the tents in my later posts. I had such a great time and I thank Mercedes-Benz fashion week for reaching out to me!
