September in NYC at NYFW SS15
Wow has it been a crazy week and a half. I have 3 photoshoots tomorrow!! So lots of stuff with StyleTag and Kenneth Cole coming up ☺ No time to just sit down and relax… Even though that is all I want to do.
Ok so on the second day I won a contest with Temptu to win a ticket to the Charlotte Ronson presentation, some Temptu cosmetics goodies, and a $100 gift card to Athleta! So thank you so much to Temptu for having me!
Also, another special thanks and shout out to Etcetera, Etc. in Austin, Texas for giving me this amazing Cameo dress! Etcetera, Etc. is my favorite boutique in Austin, Texas! It is located over on 2nd Street across from one of my favorite restaurants, La Condesa. I am so excited that they have just launched their online boutique so now I can shop their store from here in NYC! It’s such a great boutique because it carries pieces you don’t find in your everyday department store.

I love this dress by Cameo because it’s a great twist on the LBD. It has these shoulder pads and boning in the bodice that gives the dress a nice structure making it very form flattering. Especially for women like me who have a very hourglass shape, these fit and flare dresses are always flattering but sometimes they’re too girly for me. That’s why this Cameo dress is perfect because it is an edgy version of a fit and flare dress with the plunging neckline and shoulder detailing.
TREND ALERT: Black, black, black and ummm yes black. I live in NYC and let me tell yeah… Black is the new black! As much as I love an all black look, I think there always needs to be a pop of color or texture. My Lexicon of Style scarves are a perfect complement to an all black look.
