Stepping out in a sweater set – yes, me.
Rebecca Minkoff NYC always sends me the coolest stuff to represent the brand. I knew when I talked to them about being dressed head to toe in RMNYC for the SS16 runway show, that I should expect something hip, trendy and totally edgy.
The outfit they sent me had me playing dress up the instant I received it. The sweater material skirt and shrug were not only an amazing material, but they were actually comfy. The set was embellished with stars sewn into the set with a sparkly thread.
Underneath the tighter fitting skirt, I tucked in a sheer black tank that went perfectly with the edgy yet delicate jewelry I wore. The bracelet and dangly necklace were gold plated and chic, and were complimented by a bolder choker piece and mis-matched earrings.
The highlight of this outfit that pulled the entire look together were the to die for boots. These boots (aka my new obsession) were embellished with tiny gold studs all over them. With some signature blue Lexicon lips and tinted shades, this outfit easily became one of my new favs.
After wearing this outfit around SoHo for fashion week, I definitely want to check out more fall looks – edgy of course. And can we talk about this adorable bucket bag for a second? It was first of all, so perfect with the outfit, and was the perfect size along with deep enough to hold all of my fashion week essentials.
